So this is so weird but our other chicken hadn't laid an egg in months,and the other would lay an egg once a week. Today they both laid an egg! I know that there is supposedly a pecking order but all of our 3 chickens were best buds. I'm looking at it as they laid eggs in my Goldie's memory. And by the way you backyarders have made me feel so much better about putting her down. Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness!
