I am happy for you BYC buddy. I would "NOT" let him go out right away he has been through an ordeal. I would give him a week or 5 days to regain his strength. Then release him on his own volition. The bird has been malnourished over the last few days and should stay near the feed and water dish. In a weaken state he may be easy prey for a predator.He has returned!!
