We have an old piece of a chicken coop that we have outside and it’s been super warm recently. So we have been putting our ducks and chickens in it during the day so they can play outside. I checked on her and she was upside down and when I picked her up very weak and barely responsive. I usually have to work to pick her up and she usually quacks at me until I put her down. She did nothing this time. They get niacin and have had some pedialyte since our other duck had a vitamin defeciency A few weeks ago we gave it as a preventative. There was some wet feed in there from rain. And I’m thinking possibly botuslisum these are our first ducks. And she’s our favorite. We’d be devastated to lose her. What can we do? It’s Sunday and our vet isn’t open. We don’t have an emergency vet I don’t believe. She’s made a few sounds and is kinda perked up. But she had 2 VERY watery poops. She’s started peeping as I was typing this up. She’s looking around some more when there are noises. Is this a good sign?

She is doing better in the last picture. Make sure she has plenty of water and food.
Is her poop fine being like that? She keeps pooping. I’m guessing that’s a good sign that she is if it is botulism. Bc she’s getting stuff out. But it’s very clear/ green and runny

Some more information would be helpful, How old is she? What are you feeding her? Is it possible one of the chicken may have pecked her head? Do you have any clue what may have been inside the coop to possibly cause Botulism? Could you post a picture of her poop? Is she eating drinking?

For now, I'd keep her in a warm/quiet room with plenty of feed and water, until you can get her to a vet.

She’s 5 weeks. Doing much much better now. I’m thinking maybe the chicken pecked her in the eye bc she was closing it Or botulism bc there was feed in the run and it rained the other day. I didn’t know that that could hurt them so I didn’t move it. She’s in the bathtub with our other duck. She’s LOUD if she’s lonely. She perked right up after I posted this thread. I posted a picture of her poop In the thread. It’s the first picture
