So sorry for your loss. It happens occasionally in very warm weather. Some chickens just do not tolerate heat. You can pen up one of your roosters and rotate him and the other in and out, if 2 is too much in your flock. Or re-home one. I always worry about bringing in new birds with an existing flock, since you can bring in diseases, or upset the pecking order, and have bullying.
