I have a hen who has been off her food for about a week. Up until yesterday I could get her to eat yoghurt and even cooked egg.

She is sleeping all the time and today, she isn't eating anything. Not even yoghurt.

She has lost weight. She doesn't seem to be vomiting. She doesn't seem to be voiding much, if anything.

Her crop is fine (not swollen).

I have this horrible feeling that she is just going to up and die today.

My other hen seemed a little under the weather this week, but today she seems to be somewhat perky.

Both are ISA Browns.

Have you checked to see if she's egg bound?

It almost sounds like she could be laying internally too. The symptoms fit. If she's egg bound, you can fix that but there isn't any fix for internal laying.

Sorry you're having to go through this.
