about 3 months ago i hatched some chicks in my brand new incubator. about a week before the hatch the father of the chicks a white leghorn died for no apparent reason. now his son which is 3 months old is walking arround wheezing and trying to poop but cant just like his dad did before he died. what is wrong with my chicken. do you think the father passed it off to his son. please tell me how to stop him from dieing. this chicken is an ameraucana crossed with white leghorn. he is puffing up and trying to poop but he just cant. i looked in his vent and it didnt look clogged. he has been fine until now. he is in a pen with five other hens and they are all fine. i have never treated my chickens for anything but the are in very good condition. i have only had this happen once before with his dad. i hope this is enough to go on i realy hope i can save this guy.
