help please!

my hen was going to hatch chicks, but then i found out that all the chickens in my coop were eating the eggs! i saw the dead chicks, and it was horrible! what could i do to stop this from happening?

my guess is to keep the mother isolated. in a broddy box. eg a box with no way out.

i did, i locked her in the chicken house in my coop... but the other chickens need to sleep somewhere, so all the other chickens had to go inside the chicken house, then started eating the eggs again... i think the hen is sad... please, i need more help!

Make her with nest her own penned in area in your coop with food/water and room to walk around in, thats what I do when I have to.

Put her in a dog kennel buy herself.

I used a storage box with a window screen on the top held down with a heavy book .And put the hen with her eggs in the cellar.It worked really well.

Personally I think segregation is the only option ..How you do it is your own choice.. Isnt there no way you can either partition the coop or block her into the nest box ? Other than that besides leaving the others out I see no other options
