Sorry you didn't get many replies. It does sound like they were overheated and combined with shipping stress it was just too much. I have also heard on here that if they were in the same box as large fowl chicks they sometimes get run over too much. I hope they start doing better soon.

Everybody is doing very well tonight. They are all very active, eating, drinking, etc. I did buy some oatmeal and ground it up and mixed it into their feed. Still some loose poop, but not much at all. Do I dare think we are out of the woods? Of course now I am in the process of setting up the brooder for the Button Quail eggs that I have in the incubator. They are supposed to start hatching Friday.... hopefully no more problems with birdies!
