yes im sure it was the other hens. she was fine before I put her in the pen i seen them pecking at her and when I went to take her out I noticed she was all bloody underneath.

I have no vet right now as I'm here on vacation. Im from maine nd currently in florida I bought these for a relative because they were looking to get more. I placed her and another in the pen and everything seemd fine at first then a few mins later we noticed them pecking her underneath.

Look, this hen is in a serious situation right now. If you don't have a Vet that you can take this poor bird to now, you need to make a choice here. Either put her down now and end her pain or you could try and save her by cleaning and stiching. There is no guarantee that she will make it if you do.

Okay...can you contact the person you got them from? They may be able to help you find someone.

why don't you find a vet from the yellow pages. poor girl this is awful! if you want to save her take her to a vet where she can get antibiotic and sutures! please

X2 what Haunted said. It appears from the pic's that they pecked all the way through the skin and either muscle or innards are exposed? It's hard to tell when one is not there in person but that looks very bad. Personally I would probably have her put down rather then prolong her suffering. If not, that wound has to be very carefully cleaned and stitched and she needs antibiotic's or that is going to get massively infected.
