Help please

I have had 4 chickens for 2 years,1 of the chickens became lethargic and had diarrhoea.She stopped eating and rarerely had a drink.After week she died.Was wondering if anyone could tell me likely cause of this and if it will spread to the others.Thanks

Very difficult to diagnose with so little info. Could be any one of a couple dozen things. Those were the only symptoms?

Yes they were the only symptoms.could not be sure if it was her but did not seem to be laying eggs.also was losing a few feathers and was red and raw around her bottom.

Could have been several things,vent gleet,mites/lice. Check all your girls for mites/lice,look around tail feathers,vent and under wings. If not laying any eggs,she may have been egg bound.
