Regardless I would be most alert for the heat stress potential if you are using heat lamps vs a heating pad setup in the brooder. Prevention is best, but since you have 4 day olds I am assuming they are hatchery stock shipped via the mail and may be dehydrated a bit from the shipping. This is an assumption on my part.
excellent then you aren't risking dehydrating them if they can escape the heat as needed!They are from hatchery, they have been here two days. I have a heating pad not heat lamp. And they have fresh water. They are in the house so I check on them a lot .
