Help! Possum in the hen house and a bit bird

I live in town so I have a catch-em-alive trap next to my coop. I use to relocate but they seemed to find their way back. So a more perminate solution was needed.

I bought a trappers license and am legal to kill em. Oddly enough, they seem to drown in my bathtub still in the cage. Usually late at night when the neighbors are asleep.

thanks again! i think maybe the best plan is bonk it on the head to knock it out and then take it "out back" somewhere...

do i have to take special care cleaning out the house after (possum saliva) and/or will i have to disinfect it with bleach and water or something?

(or is that extreme?)
