Help! Power outage!

Yes I am definitely going to try again. I have some silkie eggs from a trio I bought a few months ago that I am going to try. Once I get over this loss I will go ahead and set those. This was gonna be my first hatch so I was pretty invested in it. Plus, they were nearly ready and were fully formed but just needed to grow a bit more.

Thank you. He is but he always is if he feels he screwed something up. He knows I’m heartbroken but not mad, especially since it was an accident.

For future reference, eggs are super resilient! My aunt had a hen that left her eggs for 2 days around day 15, and she came back and hatched them all! The embryos will go into a hibernation state, and as long as it's not freezing outside (or inside) then they'll be fine. Room temp is good for hours and they'll still live. So sorry for your loss! Do you think you're gonna try again?
I found out by accident that eggs are very resilient. I had a hen kept jumping back and forth from one nest to the other. I thought she would never hatch anything. The egg would be cold at times. She hatched the egg. I think when we hatch in a incubator we overthink it.
