Peekin duckling hatched today at 10:00 am est. came out with the umbilical cord still attached. After a few hours was about to detach from the egg. Moving around hut very week. Doesn’t want to open it’s eyes. Put antiseptic around the stomach area. I tried giving it sugar water but has no desire for it. I have it in the incubator still temp is 100.00 humidity is 66%. Any tips on helping it get strength and survive?

It may just need time. Hatching is a long process, especially for ducklings, and sometimes they do hatch out still attached to the shell but as long as it has absorbed the yolk fully it shouldn't be in any danger. Let it sleep and rest in the incubator.
Thank you! It’s trying to get up!
