I have a chicken that prolapsed yesterday. I read all the articles on how other people handled this and have done many of the suggestions.
Using PH and honey and trying to put her insides back in. I'm not sure they are going to stay. I have her in a dog kennel with just water right now. I'm not sure what I should do about feeding her? Should I just get some electrolytes down her and not feed her anything solid and for how long? She did make it through the night but she's not making any noise at all.
Thanks,
Sharoon

Thanks for the advice. She is still with us and I started feeding her some cooked wheat cereal and part of a banana twice a day.
Her backend still has part of it hanging out. It won't stay in. I've used honey and keep PH on her. I washed her in a bath of apple
cider Vinegar yesterday. I put her out yesterday in the sunshine in the dog crate and put her around the others. I just feel that they need to
know she is still here and vise versa. Not sure if I'm doing the right thing. My husband won't spend any money to take her to a vet. I keep her in the garage at night with a cover over the dog crate. I guess time will only tell whether she makes it or not.
