help quacks all the time now

my girl pekin duck quacks all the time now and she never did that before and she stop laying eggs to any one have any ideal what can be going on with her she is eating and drinking but all she does is quack and not lay she was a good layer but now nothing at all help

its is going in to summer here and she is 16 months old she lives with a boy duck and 12 chickens they have all been together sent they was baby's and they live in a big coop and have a big big run they eat duck food for they age and they have grass and lots of fresh water and a pool for them to go in the only changes at all in her home is my husband did change the food like 2 weeks a go he got a new food it's a corn feed for ducks and chickens that's the only thing that has changes she is walking around and she goes in the water and i seen her eat and drink she just quacks all the time now and she has not laid any eggs and she always lays ever day

Some ducks just love to quack females especially I have 2 Buffs that quack alot and they are just going on 6 weeks old. lol

I am concerned about the feed your dh bought though. To have healthy layers whether ducks/chickens they need to be fed a good quality feed for layers that has the adequate amount of calcium to make healthy strong eggs and keep the layer healthy. A layer feed or an all flock with extra calcium like oyster shell should be provided all the time if the ducks and hens don't get adequate amt of calcium it will be leached from their bones which isn't a good thing. Corn whole or cracked is nothing but candy and should only be given as a treat. If fed too much your hens and ducks will get fat which isn't healthy for layers either. Fresh water should always be available.

THANK YOU i put them all back on the feed that i had them on with everything that they need in it for them to be healthy last night and they always have fresh water and sent i put them back on the food thay have always been on she seem to be back to her self it must have been the feed she was not happy at all with it i guess she is even back to laying eggs again thank you for your help
