HELP quail chicks are going crazy

my chicks all of a sudden just started chirping and running like crazy and hitting the walls o the brooder they've calmed down a bit but can someone tell me what caused this

Sounds like something frightened them. Birds are especially afraid of overhead shadows. Its in their nature.
