Help! Quail on her side, hard time getting up

she hit her head around 4 months ago but hasn’t had any problems since then until now. Do you think they’re related. I feed her kelly’s game bird feed and i mix in some oyster shells, I’ve been doing that for most of her life. She also seems to be eating and drinking ok. I’ll check to see what her poop looks like though
Are you feeding her Kelly's game bird starter? That was the only game bird feed I could find when I searched for it. The protein level is too high for an adult quail and could be causing liver failure.

If you have the nutrition label from her bag of feed, that will help.

here is the label

They don't show lysine or methionine levels, which is a bit of a red flag. This has 20% protein, which is a bit low for coturnix quail.

Has the feed gotten damp at all?

Kelly's makes Turkey Gamebird Developer which is 21.5% protein but I'd be leary of that feed too! Do you have access to Purina or Kalmbach or any other brand? If you do, look for a feed with 24% protein and has around 1.50 lysine and around 1.0 methionine....that would be ideal but most feeds do not have anywhere near the correct amounts.

I have been feeding her a mix of eggs, peas and sunflower seeds along with her regular feed. I separated her from the other birds just now because she was having a hard time accessing her water. She is now isolate with food nearby so she should be able to eat and drink if she wants. At what point do I euthanize? I really don’t want to but if she keeps continuing like this I don’t think she is going to live a very happy life
