i have another question. if i separate a quail from their flock will the flock let them back in?I would try to put gentle pressure on the one that won't stop bleeding, that should slow/stop the blood from continuing to flow. Provide water for them if they seem to want it and don't let them outside where flies can get into the cut or anywhere the wound could get infected.
ok thanksThis is something I am not sure about. I am thinking there is definitely a possibility that the aggressor(s?) would target the same birds again, but maybe not? Keep them separated at least until they heal, and then maybe try re-introducing them slowly.
