This is my second hatch. Today is day 21 and 5 of my eggs have hatched. There are 5 other eggs that have pipped. The chicks are very active (although only a few hrs old), and knocking over some of the eggs that have pipped. I know I'm not supposed to open the bator, but this made me nervous with my last hatch and is making me nervous now. I can see beaks in the eggs that are being pushed around. Does anyone else have this problem? I incubate the eggs in a styrofoam incubator and have them on an automatic turner. I take them out of the turner on day 18 so they just lay there. Not sure if the chicks rolling the other eggs is safe. Please let me know what you do. Thanks!

Yes this is normal. Some people open the bator and take them out, but I wouldn't advise it. I don't ever open the bator when there are pips or zipping going on.
