help quick ! eggs in the mail

This will be my first incubator hatch. Trying to do everything right. Incubator has rails that roll slowly back and forth. !. should I still turn eggs over by hand also? 2. When I lay them in the incubator do I lay them flat like on a table or pointie end down like in a carton. 3. When I stop truning on day 18 what position should the egg be in. i.e. flat, one or the other end up ? I read some info. about air cell's ( I know what they are ) but how is that revelant to incubating.? Thanks !

The rails are doing the turning for you. Put them in pointy end down. On day 18 take the (rails) turner out and lay eggs on side or study threads here about egg carton hatching. There are many informative threads here to help you. RELAX
