*Help, quick* Emergan-c safe for chickens?

I have a roo showing signs of dehydration and I need to get him some electrolytes. I can't find my emergency electrolyte packet for chickens that I had and I can't get out of town right this second to get more. So will Emergan-C work in a pinch?

BuffOrps123 I separated him from the rest and he is drinking water on his own. So now I am just wanting to get his electrolytes replenished since it is really hot.
