Help! Rabbit testicular injury **gross picture**

Keep up the silver...keep it very clean. I use nustock when an animal has a skin issue...perhaps if the testie falls off, a part of it, you could put that on to help aid in the healing. I would not count him out as a breeder!! The only way to really know , once he’s healthy, put him with a doe and wait the 30 ish days. You might wan5 to trim the hair around it so it’s not sticking in the wound and then reopening it as is gets pulled. keep us posted!

Yesterday we came home and our male silver fox rabbit escaped. We though he had hurt his leg but apon further inspection he had cut/scraped is testicle. We cleaned it out with colloidal silver water and have been discussing what to do. He has been eating and drinking, standing on his back legs, moving around.

A lot of questions have been running around my head, what can we do (if anything) besides take him to the vet? Will he be able to breed? Will this cause him trouble in the future/ If he cant breed will he be able to be someones pet? I dont know if anyone has been through this or can give me any advice. I'm avoiding the vet because we dont have the money, plus I'm not sure if anything can be done.
Picture:
The discolored pale part is hard but the other part are still soft and pink. There is no dark parts or anything that is wet or slimy.
First picture is before I cleaned it today. The second is after, its red but I had no blood on my towel.

I've actually had the same injury on my mini Rex buck. We left it alone and it healed on its own. As long as it's only one testicle, he'll still be able to breed. My buck has had numerous litters since.

I was breeding my bunnies today and my FEMALE BUNNY BITE MY MALE BUNNY right testie off ! Not the whole thing but a small price of it. I can take pictures. He is acting like nothing happened but there is blood around the testie that was bit. I can’t go to the vet anytime soon so I need advice !

One of my rabbit ripped the two testicles of my male rabbit. I don't care about him breeding, i just want answer if he will be okay with open testicles? Can't to vet because of this pandemic.

Did they done any stitching same happened to my rabbit today unable to get vet due to lock down. For now given oilment. Will send a picture in some time.
You can use super glue to fix some injuries to the skin. We used a lot of superglue on injured teats in dairy goats because the skin is so stretchy and hard to stitch. If you glue it, you need to trim it a bit so you get off the dead and dying tissue and you have live tissue to deal with. A man who was a medic in the Vietnam War is the one who clued me in about superglue. He said that on the battlefield the most important thing was to patch 'em up and get 'em out FAST and superglue helped the medics do just that.

Hi guys! Need a little help. So my baby boy cookie who's now 5months old had his testicle cut the night when I transfer him to his new cage. It turns out there's a loose wire there. The next morning I notice the cut when I was about to feed him together with my other bunbuns. I put betadine and some madre de cacao antibacterial cream as an first aid. Any suggestions on how I should cure him without going to vet since I don't have enough money for now. Thank you in advance! 💗 I just really wanted him to get well ☹️ is it really effective to put neosporin ointment to the wound for faster healing? Please please please help me :((

Does it really makes the wound heal faster and is it safe for the bunny since he licks off whatever I put in the cut area. Please please please help me :((

I'm guessing it will heal just fine.

Check it regularly in case it gets infected, and watch his behavior too. If it gets infected it will probably hurt worse and maybe make him feel sick, so you might notice him acting differently if that happens.

For ointment, do not use anything poisonous, because rabbits lick themselves clean. I think he will probably keep it licked clean himself, but I don't know for sure.
