Help! REALLY, REALLY confused!

Aw cute I would say boy if there are no striped feathers. The girls usually have less coloring -coloring in your case being white. He looks like my normal gray boy without the yellow or the orange.

aquaeyes,could you sex these two for me?

i bought them as 2 males but think the yellow one is perhaps female? she doesnt whistle and sing like the other and has stripes under 'her' tail and wings....


i also have 2 young tiels from the beginning of this year..they have white 'spots' under their wings and stripes under the tails...are they both female? (can get a photo of those tomorrow)

didnt know that about the white faced, wow...turns out in all my years ive NEVER seen a female white faced teil then...plenty of males, but if the females only have white cheek patches..ive never seen a female. i feel kinda incomplete now lol.

Hi all,

I remember several years ago there was an article in Bird Talk or something similar about A strain of Male Pearled cockatiels that upon maturity were not losing their pearls. Does anyone remember this??? That little guy sure looks like a male.
