Help regarding leg injury

So it has been a couple of weeks…how is your chick doing?

It has. She’s still hanging on. Memorial Day weekend whatever is going on finally reared it’s ugly head. Her entire upper leg became red and swollen. I have been applying terramycin topically and then ordered a powdered antibiotic that I’ve been putting in her water. It’s still swollen but not nearly as bad. The redness is gone. She still will not put the leg down but at this point I’m wondering if it will just be deformed or not grow correctly ya know. She’s making due. Just not sure what caused that and if it will continue. Certainly don’t care to have her be on antibiotics her whole life. I’m trying to convince my husband to let her be an indoor girl with a pair of panties on. Lol. I will try and post a better picture that is updated. That was the one on Memorial Day. It got even more swollen before it improved.
