Dear Seniors, Especially @sumi and @loveourbirds,

I have just read the method given by both of you and seems very suitable for me, But there are some confusions in my mind which needs clarification and i hope that you guys as seniors can assist me so my confusions are stated below:

Q1: I have a Styrofoam Box in which i am planning to set up the things (Home Made), so would one kerosene lamp will enough? because i have only 1. and the box is small, not very larger.
Q2: I just want to test the hatching results of 5 eggs which are 6-7 days old, so how much should be the Temperature in °C?
Q3: How much the humidity should be?
Q4: Should i put the eggs on sand or in any other tray?
Q5: How much should be the sand? Suggestion.

I am very thankful to all of you for helping me, I knew it that the members are very helpful in here and that is why, i am here!

Thank you in advance!

i was waiting on sumi to answer this, but she is busy - for the record she knows more than me.

i will get you some instructions, give me a little bit; i will post them in a few hours.

@loveourbirds Thank you for your time and i hope that, sumi will have some free time soon to help me in this regards, and i also hope that, you will instruct me also.

Thank you both of you!

Dear Seniors, Especially @sumi and @loveourbirds,

Q1: I have a Styrofoam Box in which i am planning to set up the things (Home Made), so would one kerosene lamp will enough? because i have only 1. and the box is small, not very larger. your kerosene lamp may be a little to hot , use plenty of ventilation. If you can find some sort of wooden box with a door it would be better.
Q2: I just want to test the hatching results of 5 eggs which are 6-7 days old, so how much should be the Temperature in °C? 38-39 degrees link http://www.howtoincubate.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=71&Itemid=75
Q3: How much the humidity should be? 40-50% for first 18 days, 50-60% days 19-21.
Q4: Should i put the eggs on sand or in any other tray? i am not sure of the answer to this - it would vary by incubator type, since this is an experiment; i would try both.
Q5: How much should be the sand? Suggestion. the more sand, the better the temperature will be regulated.

Dear @loveourbirds,

Thank you very much for sparing your precious time for helping me, I can't say how much i am happy after reading your detailed reply.

and do correct me if there is an error in my understanding:

1- First, i have to prepare a wooden box.
2- I will place a Kerosene lamp.
3- I have to place some water for humidity with kerosene lamp.
4- Above the kerosene lamp, i will place a sand layer and will place blanket above on sand.
5- Then, I should place eggs in sand above Blanket.

Go do this, without placing any eggs in the box, just to experiment. See how it works and if you can maintain the needed temperature and humidity, then tweak it as needed.
