Really stuck, my first time hatching rheas and I've only got one egg in the incubator at the moment, it's day 36 and still no pipping of the membrane, no churping, I candled the egg and saw movement about 10 minutes ago, put egg in lockdown on day 34 and humidity is 55% and before was room humidity. Temp is 37.3 an has been constantly throughout incubation. anyone have any idea when they could hatch and if they will hatch? Thanks

I'm not familiar with ratites

but i have experienced hatches on the second day from due so wait it out I'm sure it will hatch

Rheas can take up to 40 days. Many times, they need help hatching when artificially incubated. I would only assist after the membrane is broken through, then give them about a day, and if they havent broken the shell yet, break it open for them of they will suffocate.
