HELP!! Roo with Wry neck?

Also - you don't want to try to hold his head up, because the nerves are causing the muscles to contract harshly enough to pull his head down, and if they start spasming it could lead to further injury. They might not actively complain, but if you try to tilt the head back upright I've seen them protest.

I would advise try to treat the base problem causing the symptom and not the symptom itself. With dietary things like deficiencies, once you find what it is they need and they get it into their system you can often see improvements begin within hours, sometimes sooner depending on how severe it was. Best of luck.

the Back tablets are human back tablets that help with pinched nerves. we made sure he could have them before we gave it too him,
Back tablets such as flexoril? Most back injury tablets are muscle relaxants, not steroids, and I would be very cautious using them without a vet's care. Muscle relaxants can cause depression of breathing or respiratory arrest. It is good that he is doing better. He may well have had a spinal or head injury. Hopefully, he will continue to recover.
