HELP!!! Rooster has bloody diarrhea

Can you post photos of his poop and of all of him?
I just realized I had taken a picture of him the same day I took that picture of his rear end that I posted on here. Here it is. I can get the picture of his poop tomorrow morning.

He's a handsome boy. If he has coccidiosis, improvement can be seen in as little as 36 hours, and that would be improvement in demeanor, poop, and appetite. If there is no improvement, and the blood keeps up, he needs that antibiotic as soon as you can manage it.

I will in the morning, sorry I just saw your reply. We lost power last night and the temp dropped to 9 degrees so I was up all night trying to keep my house warm. I will post pictures of him and poop in the morning. Thanks
No worries.
He is a handsome boy!
Hopefully you'll see improvement with the Corid, if not, I agree, I'd get him on antibiotics.

Uggg! Hope you are staying warm!
I'm currently at 3F, but power is still on. We mainly use wood for heat thankfully, but I still appreciate electricity very much.

Okay thank you! I will update if anything changes.

Thank you! I hope so too, and I’m hoping the corid does the trick.
We have a wood burning stove/heater Thank god because we wouldn’t have made it without

Thank you! So I started to have symptoms show up in another chickens so I immediately started TEPOX 48 since my birds have already been on corid. I am wondering though should this give them yellow/orange diarrhea? None have gotten any sicker since I started this I was just curious since they all have yellow/orange diarrhea. Thanks for any info you might have

Okay, then you could have active coccidia there. How is his behavior? If he's lethargic, he maybe could use a sulfa antibiotic with the Corid.

Most of the time, Corid will clear up the bloody poop as it decreases the coccidia activity in the intestines. But if the bloody poop persists, it could mean infection has taken hold in the inflamed intestines. It's called enteritis and can be fatal.

You can get pigeon sulfa from pigeon supply shops or pet stores if you are in a city. Or it can be bought online.

The Corid should cause improvement within the first 24 to 36 hours. If he gets worse instead, get him on sulfaSo I started to have symptoms show up in another chickens so I immediately started TEPOX 48 since my birds have already been on corid. The orange stools are a definite side effect of this drug.

The diarrhea should clear up as the coccidia are overwhelmed by it. If no improvement, try giving the chickens boiled rice with buttermilk or keifer. Also, give probiotics to help firm up the stools.

I'm glad you were able to get the Tepox48 and treat them with that.
Photos of the poop are always welcome, but I agree, likely a result of the sulfa medication.

It's good that no one is getting sicker, but are they improving?
