I am concerned that one of my 17 week old buff Orpington is a rooster. Its considerably bigger than all my other ones with really long legs. I have 2 buffs and one is so different than all my other 8 pullets. Also the breast is not as full. It has always been a very aggressive eater. Today it started to try to crow. I was sold pullets but I know mistakes can happen. Please help identify. I really don't want a rooster. Thanks!

That difference in comb size is glaringly obvious...and was probably apparent at about 5-6 weeks to the experienced keeper.

Your bird is a cockerel - the obvious difference in comb/wattle development and color was likely seen weeks ago - and he is developing male feathering characteristics - the crowing was just window dressing at this point with regards to gender ID.
