Help sex my ambiguous Cream Legbar day-old

I think it's still a cockeral too...but it does seem odd to have that dark head spot instead of a light one. Can't wait to see how it grows :)

Here is an updated photo at 3 weeks. There is no sign of comb pinkening or wattle growth, although I have another clearly male chick that hatched at the same time (a cross between my CL roo and a Delaware hen) who shows a clearly larger and pinker comb and wattles.

If anything, it has become harder to dintinguish the ambigous CL chick from the clearly female CL chick.

Ambigous chick now:

It sure looks like a pullet to me. I don't see the barring of the cockerel appearing. It looked like a light colored pullet at hatch to me also.
I'm tending to agree. It looks very much like a pullet since there isn't any barring. Seems that there was the eyeliner in an earlier picture. You will really need to keep us updated on this. I"m also remembering that in addition to diffuse stripes the white head spot was the marker for male chick -- and this little one didn't have that at all. The mystery chick!

That sure is looking more and more like a Pullet. Though, I would have bet it was a male from the first pictures. Either way, it is probably not one that should be bred.

Thanks for posting updates - please keep them coming as s(he) continues to grow.

x2 Chickens are so interesting and this helps us learn more about the breed! Thanks.
