I think it's still a cockeral too...but it does seem odd to have that dark head spot instead of a light one. Can't wait to see how it grows

I'm tending to agree. It looks very much like a pullet since there isn't any barring. Seems that there was the eyeliner in an earlier picture. You will really need to keep us updated on this. I"m also remembering that in addition to diffuse stripes the white head spot was the marker for male chick -- and this little one didn't have that at all. The mystery chick!It sure looks like a pullet to me. I don't see the barring of the cockerel appearing. It looked like a light colored pullet at hatch to me also.
x2 Chickens are so interesting and this helps us learn more about the breed! Thanks.That sure is looking more and more like a Pullet. Though, I would have bet it was a male from the first pictures. Either way, it is probably not one that should be bred.

Thank you for keeping us updated.I don't have a pic handy, but she is without a doubt a girl. I have hatched another girl like her. So far, all my boys have clear headspots.
