Hi there. When I got this chick from the feed store they said she was an Ameraucana female. I don’t care about the breed nearly as much as her being female. However I have my doubts about the breed as well. She is 6weeks & has a Peach comb, slate legs & gray/greenish eyes. I can’t see any evidence of beard or muff. She is friendly to us but a little bit of a bully to the other chicks but is older than some & may actually be 7 weeks so maybe just because she’s older. I don’t know.

My guess is maybe Easter Egger mix of some kind. I’m curious about what breed she really is but urgent to know if she is a she or not. I know the behavior is suspect... thank you in advance for opinions. :)

The above chick still appears female at 9 weeks and is such a cute girl. Here is hare current pic

There are a couple others I got at a different feed store that were labeled Easter Egger pullets. They were VERY small & have feathered legs. The one who appears to be female has a single comb & looks like a bantam partridge Cotchin. The comb in this pic of Cayenne looks pinker than it actually is. Happy Feet is obviously male with pea comb.
My question about these 2 is if they’re likely to be mislabeled and we’re really feathered leg Bantam Assortment rather than anything to do with Easter Egger. Also how likely is Cayenne who is easily less than 1/2 the size of the other 9 week chicks to have problems with the flock of large birds they will be joining (Marans, Orpington, sexlink & Araucana)
