Do you Abe a pic of your araucana?Feed store. They get chicks from Ideal Poultry.
So you think the light one could still be female?
I’m concerned about their tiny stature in my old flock & the cats. The cats are terrified of the full size chickens but not sure about little Cayenne.
She certainly isn’t. I bougt a purebred from a private breeder about 7 years ago. Paid I think $45. She was a lovely sweet girl. Also bought a red pile Araucana from a show breeder that same year. Such fun birds. She sounds like she stepped out of the Amazon jungle. Have enjoyed them so much Lol. I live in the city and can’t breed so decided to get feedstore birds this time.Do you Abe a pic of your araucana?
I’m concerned it’s not an araucana. Araucana are a very rare and expensive breed. I’m looking at expanding my araucana flock, and I will probably have to drop more than $100 for just a couple of chicks.
SHe is a female, in a female color pattern.Update:
