Today my partner and I went to a breeder to collect a couple of 1 week olds that we had wanted for the breeds we liked. The guy there looked at a picture of my 7 week old "girls" laying down and said "they are very likely to be roosters."
When we checked back when they were newly hatched, my partner had thought they were hens, going by the wing feathers. But we are not at all seasoned in this so we've never been entirely sure.
I've attached a couple of pictures of both. I looked at the guidelines for images that are helpful, but couldn't get one directly front facing of the comb because they were more interested in seeing if I had any food.
Thanks in advance for your help!
