Help sexing some 7 week old EEs and light brahmas?

Here are the pics I promised, and thank you! The bit about the iridescence is interesting, the black on my brahmas is very flat, matte compared to the Easter eggers even though all their conditions have been the same since week one.
No intent to malign the heath of your brahmas!

They probably have a different type of feather, and I'm not personally familiar with the breed. I was only trying to point out that iridescence doesn't necessarily indicate a roo. I read a thread about Black Australorps, and how the feathers shine green and purple/pink in the sun. Someone responded that green indicates health and good nutrition, but purple/pink indicates the opposite! Something about proper growth of the feather structure reflecting green and poor feathers reflecting purple. Don't know if it's entirely true, but thought it was interesting.

I love the iridescence, and am pleasantly surprised at how many of the pullets have it - pretty much any one with black feathers, even a bit in the barred rock, which I didn't expect. Chickens are way cool!

Good luck finding homes for your EE roos. Hope 3 & 4 lay eggs (and get to stay!).

Looks mostly girls I would wait till three or for months that usally when you know for sure and your LBs were just an un helthey batch I recomend adding powder vitamins and post a post to see if anyone has some vacanation they could share or buy some its pretty cheep and worth it or use medicate feed EE usally have puffery cheeks but yours look like they have some RIR In them

I didn't take it that way! And I really have had health issues with all of the brahmas since they've come home (except for maybe the runty one if I assume the runtiness isn't caused by an underlying issue). I really should check out some of the breed-specific threads to find out if they're prone to issues or try a different breeder next time I buy chicks.

And thanks Arica! I've been putting vitamins in their water and they were on medicated feed up until about a week ago when I ran out and switched to unmedicated since I figured at 9 weeks, they were ready for it. None were vaccinated though, so I'll probably go that route next time.
