your identifications are correct @FlowerBouquet . Will the person who sold them to you as pullets not take them back for exchange now that there is no doubt as to gender?

BTW, it happened to me when I was starting out; two youngsters, both roos! I kept one (luckily I'm in the country, so it's OK) and he's been a magnificent roo - he's my avatar, Sven. I exchanged the other with the seller, and got Venka, who's been a wonderful hen, and is so pretty with her snow leopard markings.
