So I went to go out and collect eggs this afternoon and I found my favorite hen on the floor laying down, not on her sides or upside down, but she was just laying there. Right now I've got her inside with Peat Moss as flooring and with a food and water bowl in front of her. She try's to move but she has to use her wings and can't stand up all the way or else she falls over. I also have a 20 watt reading lamp to give off a little heat. She is missing a couple feathers on her head but not that much. There is 2 roosters to 25 hens so its a good ratio. Is there anything I can do? I don't know if this has anything to do with it but she is a Buff Orpington Pullet, gonna be a year old soon.

If you need to ask any questions please do, i want to do anything i can for her.

I don't know if she was vaccinated for Merek's. I got her from a local hatchery here in Wasilla, Alaska. But we dusted our chickens for mites before winter and we are gonna do it again as soon as the snow is gone and summer comes. I looked at ehr legs and there are no bites, gashes, anything. She doesnt have leg mites for sure.

It couldn't hurt to give her some Poultry Drench. Try placing a few drops into her lower beak and ad some to her water. I've had good luck using it for stressed birds.
