help shes bleeding, only 2 hrs old

My duck is bleeding from her belly, what do I do? looks like she has a cut or something but is bleeding a lot.

wrap her in a (clean) rag that has been dampened with warm water so that she cannot get out of the rag and then set her back in the incubator

Her little unbilical cord or 'belly button' must have gotten stuck and puled on something. do like duck&chickencrazy said, that's your best bet.

How is she doing? You can also use flour or cornstarch. I had the same thing happen with a chick, he was bleeding so bad that I panicked and pretty much rolled him in flour....lol. Anyways, I stuck him back in the incubator to dry and 4 months later he is still fine

Thank you so much, I did exactly as you said, she soon stopped bleeding and made it through the night. But it looks like its kinda bulging on her belly? So Im not sure exactly whats wrong with her. I was planning on sellling these little guys but I think she may need to stay with me with a friend.

There is something called omphalitis, an infected bellybutton. The open would could make your little duckling susceptible, so try to avoid that. I would put triple antibiotic on the area, and keep that baby and its environment as squeaky clean as possible, give it vitamins or gro-gel, make sure it is warm enough and so forth.
