Help!!! Should I assist this chick?

Thank you everyone for your responses!
After I helped a little last night there is even less activity this morning. I’m going to try to peel a little more shell away but as BGCoop said I’m not sure if I’m prepared to cull. I don’t even know what I would do as I’ve never had to do that before. I’ll check back later this afternoon and try to make a decision then. Thank you everyone for your support!

So an update:
I just removed pieces of the shell and the little guy kicked its leg out and pushed its way through, but I feel like something isn’t right...I’ve attached a picture below. This guy is trying so hard. I don’t know what to do. I have to go to work so I’m going to let it sit and try to do its own work and will check back in later. Thank you all again!

Definitely remove the towel so it can rock itself out of the shell. Is it in an incubator?

I put the damp towel in the incubator after I had noticed that the membrane had dried out and I needed to increase the humidity. Hopefully that’s not the culprit for this struggling chick.

Damp towels should not be used it draws out moisture from the egg. And yes they roll and wobble when hatching.

This chick is a fighter! Still alive and moving but I am afraid that it’s stuck to the shell. The membrane was rock hard when I tried picking it.
Put a warm wet towel over shell so moisten..mdo not pull him out just get air sac shell top off ..he has to crawl out or he could bleed..he has an embilicle cord attached at the bottom of egg..I know I spelled that wrong sorry
