. Welp is even better. Instead of all BLRW i got some silver laced, gold laced, black wyandotte, and also some blue wyandotte. The roo is a BLRW and all the others are hens total of 27... im happy and excited for more fuzzy butts!!!!

Wow! Way to go! My intent wasn't to take you from MM, but to share my exprience with Welp. But, from the look of it, you're getting a lot more chicks of greater variety. When are they shipping to you? Mine are shipping March 22.

I had a bantam sebright and every time i went out to feed they would peck at my legs. Mean little suckers

I have two silver pheonix hens (no roo). They are super sweet, they each lay an egg EVERY day, they are doing great in VA with all the snow (we are currently in the middle of a snow storm and are expecting 30+ inches of snow) so I wouldn't say that applies to all pheonix. This is just my experience. Looking at the breed in general, they could be classified as aggressive and not good layers. However, I have been very pleased with my two girls. Silkies are awesome-very dosile and cuddly. I don't have any sebrights, but would love to get some as they are soooooo beautiful. Good luck deciding. If it were me, I'd just get some of each and not worry about making the decision

Well based on my sebrights I've had I would not get them! I had a roo that would try'n KILL ya if you were out there! But, the hens can be pretty nice and tame! But, that was JUST my roo! I bet there are some good nice and tame sebright roos out there!

I don't think so! My Sebright roo was the meanest little attack machine you ever saw. About the 5th time he drew blood I turned him into buzzard bait. I'll never have that breed again.
