Help! Showgirl is wheezing but it sounds like a meow

Hi, I woke up this morning to let my 5 girls out. One of them, a 16 week old showgirl, stayed behind in the coop and was making this weird wheezing/mewing noise. She was fine last night when they went to bed. Now it's been two hours and it looks like she's still having a hard time breezing. Her crop feels seeming normal but I couldn't get a good look in her mouth. I haven't seen her eat or drink anything yet this morning. Is this a respiratory infection? What should I do to help her?

Update: Nothing around the nostrils or eyes. VetRX seemed to help alleviate the symptoms. She sneezes occasionally. Not really eating but I've seen her drink a little bit.

Separate her from the flock, in case it's contagious. Has she been around other flocks, or to a show yet? If you have VetRX, apply that to her face. Look out for other symptoms such as runny nose, lethargy, and spitting up mucus. If you don't have VetRX, herbs such as rosemary are good for respiratory health. Non-caffeinated tea that you drink when you have a cold would be good, and have her drink it when it's cool.

Okay thank you! I put some VetRX on her and she seems to be feeling a little better. She ate some scrambled eggs and a little bit of water. She hasn't been around any other flock besides her own. I'm going to keep an eye on her in quarantine.

Hopefully, your Showgirl fully recovered. For flu like symptoms, I swear by Oxymav B. I always keep some in stock especially for the colder months. I live in South Australia so not sure what you are able to get wherever you live. There are some great Vet Chemists over here where you can peruse their websites for whatever you need cheaper than at the vets. They will let you know if prescriptions are required. Hopefully, you have the same over there.
