Help! Sick baby chick

We have a 4 week old barred rock bantam chick that is in distress. The vet says it’s neurological. She goes from eating and drinking then her head goes down and to the side. Then she rolls back and around. Last night she was chirping so loud I had to hold her to so she could sleep. Any thoughts of what it could be. We are trying some vitamins but didn’t know anyone else’s experience. Plus she gets this air bubble also.

The air bubble may be from chirping so much. Hopefully she will burp. Is she bubble in her crop? It sounds like she might have wry neck or a vitamin E or B1 thiamine deficiency. You might try some Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell 1 ml daily given orally.

The bubble shows up after drinking. Seems to have gotten somewhat better.

1 ml daily. Those have vitamins and electrolytes. She may have other problems, but hard to know. Chicks that struggle usually are slow to grow or don’t make it. The electrolytes and vitamins are a good treatment.
