Help Sick chicken !

Hi all
my chicken has these symptoms :
. Diahorrea
.just seems to sleep all day .
. Tail feathers are down
. Not eating much
do not know what to do any suggestions?

We might have had something like this before. Give her molasses water, cider vinigar, tumaric(which they really like), and make her as comfy as possible

I'm sorry to hear your chicken is sick.

Can you post some photos?
How old is she?
When was the last time she laid an egg?

Feel her abdomen for any bloat, feeling of fluid or swelling. Check to see if her crop is emptying overnight and look through her feathers for any sign of external parasites.

Keep her hydrated, if you have poultry vitamins add those to her water. Even if she won't eat much, she still needs fluids.

Let us know how she is and what you find. If you have a vet, taking a fresh sample of poop for testing is always a good idea.

Chickens have different lifespans. In a laying hen 3yrs old is considered mature and sometimes "old". A lot depends on the breed.

I'm sorry she is not well. If you have a vet that can check her over, that would be best.
