HELP!!! Sick goat low temperature !

I have about an 9 month old Nigerian Doe.Her temp is 97.7f . She is eating feed and hay grazing a little . I have give her bounce back on the chance she was dehydrated er warm. she does stand and will walk for cheerios. .I have a light on her to keep h Please help, its too late to take her anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think she needs some antibiotics. My guess is she has pneumonia simply because when a young goat gets sick that's usually what it is. Do you have a friend who might have some penicillin or something? About all you can do now is keep her warm. Personally, I would much rather see a high temperature than a low one.

Hi, how are things going? If your goat is still ill, I would suggest sine vit b complex. Also, steal a cud from another goat and stick it in the sick ones cheek. At that temp, the rumen quits working properly. You need to get that temp back up by whatever means you can. Heat lamp, warm blankets/towels etc.
And just to be sure, do you believe the thermometer is accurate?
