Help! sick/lame goose!

I did get a hard egg 2 days ago. I will see what we get today. I will to watch her poo now. thanks!

Nothing extraordinary to report. But no egg today. I am wondering, is this little lady trying to be broody? She is spending more time on her nest than usual soooooo. It seems like I Mabey have a lot to learn about goose behavior.

Hi there,
I just had my Cochin hen not be able to walk on her left leg (called lameness by vet). I thought for sure she had a fracture. Upon taking her to the vet and having an x-ray, there were no fractures but a large egg that may have been pressing on her sciatic nerve or other nerves and making her unable to walk. I have noticed her eggs are more short and round these days. I don't know if this will be a long term problem or not. She seems to be standing on both legs now, but isolated in a box to limit her movement and make her rest. So this could be a possible explanation for your goose?
