He felt it covered a wider range of infection types. There is a swab he could have done it was $160/birdGlad they are home and doing a flood better. Did the vet say why they chose oxytetracyline?



I check the chick at least each hour around the clock. I worry about the heat lamp going out or them needing my help!
I personally would have felt better if the first 3 days was the IM injection. I think they were doing better this morning. They go through phases with the phlegm. It seems like when they want to sleep they gape the most. They are very tired.
I am considering adding the Baytril to them. Why not hit them up the best I can with what I have the first few days. I believe it is a different drug class so we would just cover an even wider range!
