Aren't you concerned about buying drugs from overseas?
You have no way of knowing if you are actually getting what you are paying for.
And it seems like you would have no recourse if there are any problems with the payment, shipping, or the drugs themselves.

We already had Baytril, metronidazole suspension and Fish--Zole from stateside sources, but bought offshore just for backup. I would never suggest buying offshore, stateside is what I always suggest.

Should I give him a second pill in pm. The first day I brought him in, he got a whole pill in am and one 9 hours later. This showed the most improvement. The last 2 days, he has gotten one pill in am. Sunday will be the 5 th day. I have 3 pills left.

Maybe give him 1/2 a pill twice a day? Can you post some pictures of his poop?

I was hoping you would come on to tell him what to do.

Don't forget to send me that info. ;)

I thought it was 5 days. I will pick up more tomorrow. I thought one pill was enough.
So a 250mg pill x2 a day????

I will give another tonight when I get home. I just called in an order at the vet to pick some up in the morning.

He is not hunched, his eyes are bright, but the poo is still not great.
I am not sure how much he is eating. I put down some blueberries and strawberries.
He has flock raiser pellets, dry cat food and scratch to pick from. We will offer him a scrambled egg tonight, and I will dose him with
more metro. I have 10 more pills coming from the vet. I feel like he should be more alert.
It is my fault. I now know that I should have been giving him a whole pill 2x a day.
Hopefully by the end of the weekend, he will be great.

Now don't start blaming yourself. You are doing everything you can do for him. You are on this site asking questions, making calls and getting meds and that's A LOT! :thumbsup He is receiving great care from you. He is getting his meds and that is what's gonna save him. How comfortable are with you grabbing pinchfuls of feed, eggs or whatever with your fingertips and opening his mouth and placing it in and allowing him to swallow the food? Just like people when we are sick, we don't have an appetite and we really don't want to eat. But with some motivation, you may be able to hand feed him. How do you feel about doing that? Do you know if he is drinking any liquids? Too many times I have had to hand feed my birds and it went well.
