help! sick peacock

I am so sorry! Are you going to try to get a necropsy? It might help if you know what was wrong...

I thought about that, but he is buried under a beautiful weeping cherry tree.

I thought about him last night and was sad.

So many peas are dieing. I wish that we could save them all.

They do seem to be fragile sometimes. Your support means a lot.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Casportpony: You have more bird knowledge then most vets. Please continue to offer your knowledge and support for everyone.

thanks so much.

Glenmar and other VA/MD peafowl owners,

When I spoke with my avian pathologist today, Dr Shivaprasad, I ask him if he knew of any avian vets in Virginia. He said to contact Dr. Pierson at The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. If nothing else, maybe he could refer VA and MD peafowl owners to avian vets with peafowl and/or turkey experience.

I have lost 3 peacocks in 1 week. I'm assuming blackheads because lethargic and watery poo. I have 250 mg metronidazole tablets. What dosage should I use?
