Okay, If he were my 18 pound turkey I would give him 20 mg per kg in the breast muscle once a day.
The math:
18 / 2.2 x 20 / 100 = ~1.64 ml

You can, but since you are going to give fluids, I would give this shot in the breast muscle in hopes that it will start working faster.

The times I have been to the vet they have prescribed:
10 mg/kg twice a day
15 mg/kg once a day
20 mg/kg once a day

Dosing is something I pay attention to here, and the most commonly prescribed amounts seem to be :
10 mg/kg twice a day
15 mg/kg twice a day

No where near enough, no less than 200 is what I was thinking.
