Help! Softshell stuck in her butt

My hen is having trouble laying egg.
Looks like her egg broke ang white and yolk came out but softshell is sticking out from her butt.
About an inch sticking out. She pooped but it didn't come out.
Is it ok to pull it out???
Or if I do, I will injured her???
Or is there better way???

You can gently try to remove it, but def. don't pull hard. A warm sink bath may relax her muscles back there if you have a difficult time...

If it were me and I was absolutely sure it was soft eggshell, I would gently and slowly try to help her work it out. I've never had to do it, but last week my hen Margarita had a two-day spell where she did the same thing without the shell issue. She seems fine now. Good luck!

I pulled gently and took shell off.
Lately she is having troubles a lot...
I hope she is OK now.
